The 2019 Belt and Road Greater Bay Area Cooperation Promotion Forum, co-hosted by the Belt and Road Development Association and the Guangdong Chinese Business Association, was successfully held. 2016 Delegation of Entrepreneurs from Belt and Road Initiative Countries to Hong Kong for Exchanges

In 2017, the Belt and Road Development Association and the People's Government of Qinzhou City, Guangxi signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to promote investment by Hong Kong enterprises in Qinzhou, Guangxi through CEPA. Dai Jingfeng, Chairman of the Belt and Road Development Association, and the Vice Mayor of Qinzhou City signed the memorandum.
