The 2024 Quality Service Brand Awards (Belt and Road Initiative & Greater Bay Area Markets) QSP Asia Award Presentation Ceremony, hosted by the Belt and Road Development Association, was successfully held on September 10, 2024, at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Small and Medium Enterprises Service Centre in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. This year’s Quality Service Brand Awards (Belt and Road Initiative & Greater Bay Area Markets) is one of the events under the HKTDC Belt and Road Week, aiming to encourage enterprises to develop in the Belt and Road and Greater Bay Area markets. A total of 23 enterprises won awards this year, including those from Hong Kong, China and the Chinese mainland. What’s more, overseas enterprises won awards for the first time this year. The Quality Service Brand Awards has been held for the third year. Previous award-winning enterprises include listed companies, large enterprises as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. This year, OneTV (Asia Pacific First TV) serves as the supporting media. Dai Jingfeng, Founding Chairman of the Belt and Road Development Association, delivered a welcome speech. He mentioned that the Belt and Road Development Association marks its 10th anniversary this year. As Hong Kong’s first professional organization focusing on the Belt and Road Initiative, the Association has held over 90 Belt and Road-related activities in the past, including forums, inspection tours, Islamic dinners and award ceremonies. It has also published a Belt and Road-related book *Embarking on the Era’s Giant Ship of the Belt and Road Initiative*, and produced micro-films and songs such as *Bon Voyage*, *With You All the Way* and *Walking North, Walking South*. The Association noticed that there were no awards in the market to encourage enterprises to develop in the Belt and Road and Greater Bay Area, so it established this award three years ago. Dr. Yeung Mo-ching, Chief Judge of the 2024 Quality Service Brand Awards (Belt and Road Initiative & Greater Bay Area Markets), and Lui Chun-yung, Senior Vice President (Start-ups) of Invest Hong Kong of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, served as the officiating guests of the ceremony. The ceremony also invited previous award winners to share their experiences. Among them, Liang Xiaowen, General Manager of V+ Group, shared insights into enterprise development. This year’s QSP Pioneer Award was won by Memorigin Watch Company Limited. The event was held successfully.
