Xu Chuwu, Executive Vice Chairman of the Silk Road Development Association, visited the Kenya Investment Authority (KIA) and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) to learn about Kenya's business environment and advantageous industries, including those in the fields of industry, agriculture, housing, and healthcare that are prioritized by the current government.   Mr. Godfrey, a representative of the chamber of commerce, immediately coordinated and connected projects related to logistics, agriculture, and fishery. These include a seafood wholesale terminal in the outskirts of Mombasa, an eastern city, and a logistics warehouse project in Bungoma, an inland city. For instance, he arranged direct meetings with business entities in Shimoni and two founders of a China-Africa trade platform, explaining in detail Kenya's local fishery resources and national policies, as well as elaborating on the prospects of the relevant industrial chain and the market potential for exports to six East African countries.   In addition, the Investment Authority and the chamber of commerce expressed a strong wish for us to introduce products for simple residential housing. Due to the urbanization of the capital, there is immense pressure on housing for migrant populations, and solutions are urgently needed. This indicates that Kenya's economic development is showing a very positive momentum with abundant opportunities.
